Intended for limited space operations, the R700s has a small transport footprint and gross weight requiring less transport logistics to move. Providing a balance of compactness and crushing performance makes the R700s fill a vital contracting role without compromising on important features.
The R700s uses a Hydrostatic Drive over a traditional clutch connected transmission. The Hydrostatic Drive eliminates clutch wear, allows for a greater range of rotor speed adjustment, a more uniform throughput and more reserved power.
The Hydrostatic Drive also enables the R700s to prevent overload and damage to the crusher. The overload protection system monitors the engine load and drive pressure to start and stop feeding when necessary.
Equipped with a vibrating feeder and built-in pre-screen, fines and unwanted smaller materials can be removed prior to crushing enabling higher throughput and reduced wear.
The single deck post-screen aids production of correctly sized materials and the oversize can be recirculated for crushing or optionally stockpiled.

Impact Crushers or HIS crushers work by impacting material at high speed, causing the material to fracture upon impact with the Blow Bar. Material is then forced into the Aprons on the outside of the Crushing chamber which further helps break up material. The Aprons proximity to the Blow Bars determines final product sizing.
