The Compact Sand Plant (CSP) range by MWS offers the very best in precision sand separation. Using Hydrocylone technology a CSP can accurately separate material to as fine as 50μm, available in single and dual cyclone configurations the CSP range can separate one or two sand products. Supplied with a dewatering screen, the finished product retains only 8% moisture allowing it to be sold immediately.
Hydrocyclones use centrifugal force to separate sand from silts and clays, this method of separation is highly accurate and unparalleled in washing systems. Resulting in more retained sand product and more stubborn silts and clays removed.
The CSP range requires only a pump to operate and has a low overall energy draw, reducing generation costs and a lower cost per tonne of production.
All wear areas are lined with rubber, ensuring maximum wear resistance and longer maintenance intervals. Areas like the pump to hydrocyclone delivery system, chute and cyclone are lined with industry-leading lining solutions from Linatex.
The CSP range is available in four sizes to suit any sand Quarries production and is available in one or two sand configurations for each size, allowing precision production of in-spec sand.
By default, all CSP's come equipped with a dewatering screen. The discharged sand is ready for market immediately, aiding throughput and revenue. The dewatering screen is fitted with 200mm deep Polyurethane liners and modules.

A Hydrocyclone uses the centrifugal force of water channelled down a tapering cylinder to separate sand from clays and silts. The heavier sand is pushed to the outside of the cylinder whilst the much lighter clay and silt stays in the middle and 'floats' out through the top of the Hydrocyclone.
