 MACHINE BENEFITS

All Keestrack Diesel-Hydraulic mobile machines integrate their signature Load Sensing Pump Technology. Whilst traditional mobile plant use gear pumps and restrictors, Keestrack's Load Sensing Pumps do just as the name says, they sense how much fluid is needed to run the plant to what the operator has configured.

Compared to the aforementioned gear pumps, Load Sensing Pumps save businesses up to 25% on their Diesel Burn, a significant economic and environmental saving, best yet their just as reliable as the traditional gear pump and have reduced wear as hydraulic componentry is not oversupplied.

Load sensing pumps

Keestrack is one of the foremost leaders in Quarry equipment electrification. Their E-Series equipment features an all-electric drive system and an integrated Diesel Generator for off the grid running.

By utilising E-Motors over traditional hydraulic motors and engine direct drives, E-Series machines have higher output power with less energy consumption in addition to a longer operational life span.

The E-Series onboard Diesel Genset provides the necessary power to run the machine off the main grid and delivers a 50% fuel saving compared to the equivalent Diesel-Hydraulic machine, as an all-electric drive system is more efficient resulting in less generated energy being lost.

When set up via 3-phase grid connection E-Series machines reach another level of cost and carbon reduction. Powered directly from the grid the energy cost is 70% less than the equivalent Diesel-Hydraulic machine, and the equipment carbon footprint is further reduced to that of the grid.

E-Series Machines

Keestrack's Wireless Remote offers more than just a convenient way to start and stop the machine, it's a fully-featured platform giving operators full control of the machines and its functions from the comfort and safety of the cab.

The Wireless Remote enables start and stop, tracking, and adjustment of machine-specific parameters like C.S.S on a Jaw and Aprons onan Impactor. It also includes an emergency stop switch, making it an extension of the machine's safety systems.

The Wireless Remote has 2-way communication with the plant, enabling the remote to display the machines current configuration and what the operator is adjusting.

Like your cellphone, the Wireless Remote is USB rechargeable and is securely paired with the machine. Built from a weather-sealed polycarbonate hardshell it also incorporates a rubberised grip for impact protection.

Wireless Remote Control

The Keestrack-er Remote Telematics System is an advanced monitoring system that allows monitoring and remote adjustment of any PLC monitored components.

The PLC is connected to a cellular telematics modem, the unit stores and transmits the data to the Keestrack-er cloud, where the owner or service agent can access the telemetry.

If an area with no signal the telematics unit will upload the stored data once back in range. Keestrack-er offers some distinct advantages for fleet management. Allowing managers to see where the equipment is positioned on the site via a map overlay and how productive the mobile plant has been.

Metrics like fuel usage, engine load, crushing/screening parameters, conveyor parameters are all monitored and recorded, allowing managers to see real-time and historical data.

In addition to tracking a mobile plants productivity, the Keestrack-er Telematics System enables equipment to be remotely diagnosed and adjusted by Equip2, helping solve production issues using data.

Largest Rotor in Class

The R3h has the heaviest and largest rotor in its weight class (30-tonnes), rivalling the rotors found in 50-tonne Impactors from other popular brands. The larger Rotor improves throughput and decreases energy consumption as a heavier weight and more inertia reduces the speed lost from high-throughputs with medium to heavy materials. Resulting in a machine that can perform to a higher level than its size suggests.

Easy to use controls

The PLC interface and controls around the R3h are readily identified and initiative to use. Operators and Managers can easily operate any of the machines parameters and re-configure as needed to maximise production and monitor critical operations. The large visual PLC shows what the machine has been configured for along with readouts on the machine for simplified troubleshooting.

Highly accessible maintenance

Mesh changes take only half an hour with the hydraulically lowerable screen box with easy access to tensioning, allowing rapid adaptation to changing inputs and output demands. The large engine bay doors enable access to greasing points, consumables and service items, without needing to get into tight crevices, making maintenance and service access quick, ready to get back to work.

Integrated Pre-Screen

The R3h’s vibrating pre-screen stops unwanted fines from entering the crushing chamber, aiding performance and reducing unnecessary wear. The punch plate screen can be changed out to the desired size or covered if fines are required to enter the chamber. However configured the built-in pre-screen gives crushing operators the needed versatility for the highest performance and material specification.

Post-Screen Equipped

Equipped with a Single Deck post-screen the R3h can produce a well-calibrated end product that meets even the most demanding specifications like NZTA’s latest M4. The Recirculation system enables the oversize to be re-fed into the Impactor, increasing the potential reduction ratio, or can be set aside as a separate product.

Multi-Purpose Crushing

The R3h is the ultimate multi-purpose crushing unit, fully capable of Primary, Secondary and Tertiary crushing where it is needed. And with an easy to transport profile, fast set-up and reconfiguration time the R3h has quickly become a favourite of Quarries and Contractors alike.

How does an Impact Crusher work?

Impact Crushers or HIS crushers work by impacting material at high speed, causing the material to fracture upon impact with the Blow Bar. Material is then forced into the Aprons on the outside of the Crushing chamber which further helps break up material. The Apron's proximity to the Blow Bars determines the final product sizing. For an in-depth breakdown see this article.

Can you guarantee the R3h’s performance?

In general, this can be hard to do, but we can provide a full Return on Investment summary of the machine including all associated costs to run it, staffing, wear parts, insurance, finance, and then expected production and sales. All this information is pulled from our customer real-life performance of this machine, and then your production goals and material. We also can offer subject to trial, allowing you to see the machine perform and meet our ROI estimate, eliminating the risk of getting a dud.

I’m not sure an Impact Crusher is right for my application?

If you’ve not used an Impact Crushing Plant before the learning curve can be steep, but rewarding. Impactors offer a lot of benefits over traditional plant like Jaw and Cones, such as a single machine to achieve what takes two. For an in-depth explanation of the pros and cons of an impact crusher see this article.

What sort of Support and Parts packages do you offer?

All new Equip2 supplied machines are automatically assigned a discounted parts package and on-site audit programme. We stock wear parts and components at our centrally located Masterton depot and will support your new machine with parts on-demand, invoices are just for parts supplied and forward ordering is not necessary to obtain future stock, we keep it all here. For more in-depth requirements on the different blow bars and parts plans contact us.
